The Southern Border Provinces Development Strategy Committee has approved nearly THB252 million to connect the Sadao checkpoint in Songkhla province with Malaysia, Deputy Minister of Interior Niphon Bunyamanee said on Thursday.

Thailand and Malaysia have launched the 24-hour border checkpoint between Songkhla’s Sadao district with Malaysia’s Bukit Kayu Hitam.
